Butterick 5505 Backpacks Sewing Pattern 

Package includes patterns and instructions for three lined backpacks. Bag A, 11 1/2" x 12 1/2", inside pocket. Bag B, 16" x 15" outside pocket. Bag C, 10 1/2" x 8" contrast straps, flap facing and bands. Measurements are approximate and exclude straps.

Suggested Fabrics: Bag A, B, C: Synthetic Suede and Synthetic Leather. Also A, B: Home Decorating Fabrics, Canvas, Denim and Twill. Lining: Lining Fabric, Cotton and Cotton Blends. Optional Interfacing: Hair Canvas. Allow extra fabric to match plaids or stripes. Use nap yardages/layouts for pile, shaded or one-way design fabrics.
